FAQ

What should I bring when picking up my medications?

Your Medicare card and nurse’s text message if any.

Can someone else collect my medications on behalf of me?

Yes. The person who is going to collect your medications has to bring in your Medicare card (we accept a digital Medicare card) and the nurse’s text message if any.

How much will my medications cost?

The cost of medications will depend on the type of your treatment cycle. Generally in 2023, PBS authority prescription is $30 per script for general patient and $7.80 per script for concession patient. On average, you will be prescribed 3-4 prescriptions per cycle. Private prescriptions, i.e pessaries, DHEA tablets etc, prices vary from $45 to $145 per box.

Do I need to come with a cooler bag?

No. We will pack your fridge item(s) in a cooler bag with an ice block. If you have cooler bag(s) from a previous cycle, please feel free to bring it back.

What accessories will I receive together with my medications?

Sharp bin, dispensing pen, needles and syringes when needed.
